First Tutors private instructors can aid in your child’s progression from primary to secondary school, through to higher education.

Their client reviews allow you to feel confident in selecting a tutor who will improve grades, confidence, and help you or your child to experience the happiness of learning.

You can pay their one-off fee (which is between £9.99 to £34.99, depending on the tutor’s rate), and start your private tutoring journey. There’s no fixed term obligation.

Prices range between £9 to £100+ per hourly session, based on the tutor’s level of teaching and the subject being taught.

I used First Tutors to find a tutor for my son.They had lots of tutors to choose from with varying backgrounds and levels of experience which made me feel that I had a good chance of finding someone who would be a good match for my son.After contacting a couple of different tutors through the site and messaging back and forth for them to find out what my son needed and for me to find out a little about them, I decided on a tutor who I thought would be a good match and got his contact details.The site felt very secure and I liked the fact that I only had to give First Tutors my details rather than having to share them with all the tutors, and once I had paid for the details of the tutor of my choice, they still didn't share my details and it was up to me to contact the tutor when I wanted to.My son has only had a couple of tutoring sessions so far, but he seems to be getting on very well with Brandon and he is feeling that he is improving already and is definitely more confident, which is brilliant news for me!If my younger son needs a tutor in the future, I will definitely use First Tutors again - if Brandon isn't available that is!

Philip was a perfect tutor for our daughter for help with her maths towards her GCSE exam he has given her so much confidence that now she is looking forward to her exams

Managed to secure a very experienced tutor very quickly. Will be starting lessons in May so can’t review yet but the tutor herself had excellent reviews.

My son Luke is receiving grinds for Leaving Cert Higher Level Maths from a tutor I discovered using First Tutors. He has had two sessions to date and has learned so much in this short space of time. We are delighted to have engaged with David Willis who is very professional, explains concepts very clearly and goes above and beyond to ensure that Luke fully understands the topic.
